Signs of Infidelity:

Doctors can diagnose the flu by observing and piecing together a patients symptoms. Similarly you can diagnose an affair by looking into the following ‘cheating’ symptoms.

Its time to be concerned when your spouse:
  • Has found a sudden interest in exercise or working out.
  • Begins buying new clothes or starts dressing differently, many times like a younger generation.
  • Hides new lingerie or perfumes.
  • Buys you gifts without reason.
  • Expresses little or more interest in sex.
  • Expresses an interest in new sexual techniques.
  • Has a new interest in eating different foods.
  • Makes unexplained credit card purchases.
  • Begins to show less interest in family matters.
  • Has a new group of friends.
  • Is found without a wedding band on.
  • Suddenly buys a pager or new cell phone.
  • Tells you he/she has to work a lot of overtime on a “special” project.
  • Starts to take longer or more frequent business trips.
  • Starts leaving for work early.
  • Comes home late from work or appointments.
  • Comes home smelling of perfume or alcohol.
  • Comes home smelling of fresh soap or shampoo.
  • Comes home with suspicious stains on clothing.
  • Becomes protective of a phone, computer, briefcase, organizer, calendar, etc.
  • Spends excessive time on the computer.
  • Uses the phone or computer in privacy.
  • You find receipts for flowers, lingerie, fragrances, gifts, etc. that you did not receive.
  • You receive hang up calls at your home.

It is worthy to note that it doesn’t necessarily mean your spouse is cheating on you if he or she falls into one or two of the above symptom patterns. For example, your spouse may have a desire to exercise and get fit for a number of legitimate reasons or he/she may really have to put in overtime at the job. However this is a list of actions very common to a wayward spouse. Like the doctor who recognizes the flu by examining symptoms, if you notice a combination of these changes in your partners actions you may want to look deeper into his/her private time.
